NANGA PARBAT BASE CAMP

Nanga Parbat, 8125 meters is the 2nd. highest peak in Pakistan and 9th. tallest in world. It has 3 famous faces to climb with different approach to its base camps i.e.Diamer Face,Raikot FaceandRupal Face. Rupal Face is known for its world tallest vertical wall to climb, rising for 4570meters from base to the peak.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Tour Day 1:Islamabadndash;Beshamndash;Chilas
We depart early and drive to Besham via Haripur, Abbottabad and Mansehra. After a short break at Besham, we resume our drive on Karakoram Highway, along River Indus. We will make photo stops at Shatial Rocks with ancient graffitis on it. We reach Chilas and transfer to hotel.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Tour Day 2: Chilas ndash;Karimabad(Hunza Valley)
From Chilas we travel on towards Hunza and on the way sightseeing at Nanga Parbat View Point and confluence of 3 mountain ranges (Karakorum, Himalaya and Hindukush) including the confluence of Gilgit River into the Indus. From here we reach Gilgit. We shall continue byping Gilgit and following Hunza River. We will have lunch stopover at Rakaposhi viewpoint and then will move on to reach Karimabad, the capital of Hunza valley. We will check in to hotel in Karimabad on arrival.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Tour Day 3: Karimabad ndash; ExcursionKhunjerab P
Today we will make an excursion to the SinoPak border at Khunjerab, crossing the villages of Gulmit, Pu and Sost en route. Khunjerab is the highest point on KKH at 4734 meters and considered as the highest trade route in the world. In the evening we will return to Karimabad.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Tour Day 4: Karimabad ndash; Astore ndash; Tarashing
After breakfast we will depart for Tarshing. On reaching Astore we will drive by jeeps to Tarashing, a lovely village at the head of jeep track. We will establish our camp for night stay.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Tour Day 9: Tarashing ndash; Chilas ndash; Besham
From Tarashing we will take jeeps to reach Astore from where we will shift to our vehicle and drive along Astore River towards KKH. We will reach KKH and start driving along River Indus towards Besham. We will reach Besham in late evening and transfer to hotel on arrival.

Nanga Parbat Base Camp Tour Day 10: Besham ndash; Islamabad
To drive back to Islamabad, we make an early departure from Besham. Ping through Manshera, Abbottabad and Havelian we will reach Islamabad at our designated drop off place.
